Pepe Coins' recent 135% rally to an all-time high of $0.00002803 has drawn comparison with Shiba Inu, another memecoin with a higher market cap. Speculations that PEPE will finish 2025 above SHIB in the crypto ranking charts. Can Pepe Coin flip Shiba Inu's market capitalization by 2025? We consult an AI algorithm to settle the debate. Here is its unexpected response. PEPE Coin and Shiba Inu: The Showdown PEPE is one of the best-performing meme currencies, rising 135% in one month. While Shiba Inu grew 70%, it was modest. PEPE reached a new ATH of $0.000026 on December 7, raising its market cap to $11 billion. However, it had shed some of its value after witnessing massive taking, as it stands at $10 billion as of this writing. Though impressive, it still falls short of SHIB's $17 billion valuation. Despite the notable gap, many still believe 2025 might be the year for a significant shift in positioning between the two meme coins. PEPE's rising momentum is powered primarily by community-generated enthusiasm and robust whale activity. On-chain data also revealed that PEPE consistently surpassed SHIB in terms of daily trading volume, indicating increased investor interest. However, Shiba Inu's ecosystem has a distinct edge. Shibarium, the Layer-2 network, offers concrete benefits such as lower fees and better transaction rates for SHIB-based apps. Analysts believe the ongoing PEPE momentum and overcoming SHIB are a matter of when not if. Bluntz Capital, a well-known crypto analyst, discussed PEPE's recent rise on X, stating that there is no scenario in which $PEPE does not surpass SHIB this cycle. He further emphasized that global recognition and mindshare of PEPE are too significant, making it inevitable, in his opinion. However, can PEPE surprise us? AI has its take. AI Settles the Debate Popular AI chatbot ChatGPT evaluated the likelihood that PEPE would overtake SHIB’s market cap by 2025. What is the response? It was optimistic and realistic at the same time. PEPE has significant growth potential and can outperform the SHIB pair fairly near run, and ChatGPT understood this. It found growth was a function of elements like whale activity and community-driven momentum. Nevertheless, the AI determined that Shiba Inu had an edge over it for the reason that the crypto had a dominant market standing, utility through the Shibarium blockchain, as well as an underlying investor base. "While analysts expect strong gains for PEPE, Shiba Inu's ecosystem provides more tangible utility, making a flip in 2025 unlikely unless PEPE evolves its infrastructure and community support," it stated. In short, while PEPE may lower the gap, overcoming SHIB in 2025 remains a challenging task without significant ecosystem growth. Rexas Finance (RXS): The Next Big Player While PEPE and SHIB dominate headlines, Rexas Finance is forging its path in the cryptocurrency sector with its unique real-world asset (RWA) tokenization technology. Rexas Finance tokenizes high-value assets such as real estate, commodities, art, and financial instruments on the blockchain, making them more accessible and democratized. The ongoing presale for RXS, Rexas Finance's native cryptocurrency, has sparked intense investor interest. Stage 10 of the presale is nearing completion, bringing the total presale value to $29 million from 352 million tokens sold. After a 400% rise from its initial cost of $0.03, RXS tokens are now priced at $0.15 and will rise to $0.175 in the next round. The presale's success reflects the increased demand for blockchain initiatives with real-world use cases. Rexas Treasury provides multi-chain yield optimization for Rexas token holders, a no-code token builder that allows anyone to create their token and AI-powered NFT generation tools. Powered by Rexas AI Shield as a part of the platform's powerful platform, Smart Contract security, reliability with AI-powered audits, and real-time monitoring are provided. The project has already passed a Certik audit which gives the project credibility and increases investor trust. After the presale, RXS will go public on at least three out of the top ten cryptocurrency exchanges at an opening price of $0.20. Upon going public, RXS is expected to have a massive amount of post-listing increase, as some analysts predict it will stretch to more than $1.00 as the tokens begin to gain traction amongst the many investors worldwide. Furthermore, Rexas Finance has introduced new incentives to reward its growing membership. An ongoing $1 million contest gives 20 winners $50,000 worth of RXS tokens each, increasing participation and publicity. Rexas Finance's novel approach to asset tokenization, paired with a booming presale and a solid technical foundation, makes it a standout project in 2024. Investors seeking the next big blockchain opportunity are increasingly turning to RXS. Conclusion Having grown so big and out-performing Shiba Inu in the short term, it is highly unlikely that Shiba Inu will match the market cap of PEPE in 2025 unless the ecosystem expands further. SHIB's strong position is shown in the AI’s assessment. Rexas Finance's unparalleled presale success and breakthrough RWA platform is a compelling enterprise of 2024. As RXS prepares to list big on exchanges, Rexas Finance is a mint offering investors a chance on the growing crypto market. CHICAGO — In the days after the presidential election, Sadie Perez began carrying pepper spray with her around campus. Her mom also ordered her and her sister a self-defense kit that included keychain spikes, a hidden knife key and a personal alarm. It's a response to an emboldened fringe of right-wing ''manosphere'' influencers who have seized on Republican Donald Trump 's presidential win to justify and amplify misogynistic derision and threats online. Many have appropriated a 1960s abortion rights rallying cry, declaring ''Your body, my choice'' at women online and on college campuses. For many women, the words represent a worrying harbinger of what might lie ahead as some men perceive the election results as a rebuke of reproductive rights and women's rights. ''The fact that I feel like I have to carry around pepper spray like this is sad,'' said Perez, a 19-year-old political science student in Wisconsin. ''Women want and deserve to feel safe.'' Isabelle Frances-Wright, director of technology and society at the Institute for Strategic Dialogue, a think tank focusing on polarization and extremism, said she had seen a ''very large uptick in a number of types of misogynistic rhetoric immediately after the election,'' including some ''extremely violent misogyny.'' ''I think many progressive women have been shocked by how quickly and aggressively this rhetoric has gained traction,'' she said. The phrase ''Your body, my choice'' has been largely attributed to a post on the social platform X from Nick Fuentes, a Holocaust-denying white nationalist and far-right internet personality who dined at Trump's Mar-a-Lago club in Florida two years ago. In statements responding to criticism of that event, Trump said he had ''never met and knew nothing about'' Fuentes before he arrived. Mary Ruth Ziegler, a law professor at the University of California, Davis School of Law, said the phrase transforms the iconic abortion rights slogan into an attack on women's right to autonomy and a personal threat. ''The implication is that men should have control over or access to sex with women,'' said Ziegler, a reproductive rights expert. Fuentes' post had 35 million views on X within 24 hours, according to a report by Frances-Wright's think tank, and the phrase spread rapidly to other social media platforms. Women on TikTok have reported seeing it inundate their comment sections. The slogan also has made its way offline with boys chanting it in middle schools or men directing it at women on college campuses, according to the Institute for Strategic Dialogue report and social media reports. One mother said her daughter heard the phrase on her college campus three times, the report said. School districts in Wisconsin and Minnesota have sent notices about the language to parents. T-shirts emblazoned with the phrase were pulled off Amazon. Perez said she has seen men respond to shared Snapchat stories for their college class with ''Your body, my choice.'' ''It makes me feel disgusted and infringed upon,'' she said. ''... It feels like going backwards.'' Misogynistic attacks have been part of the social media landscape for years. But Frances-Wright and others who track online extremism and disinformation said language glorifying violence against women or celebrating the possibility of their rights being stripped away has spiked since the election. Online declarations for women to ''Get back in the kitchen'' or to ''Repeal the 19th,'' a reference to the constitutional amendment that gave women the right to vote, have spread rapidly. In the days surrounding the election, the extremism think tank found that the top 10 posts on X calling for repeal of the 19th Amendment received more than 4 million views collectively. A man holding a sign with the words ''Women Are Property'' sparked an outcry at Texas State University. The man was not a student, faculty or staff, and was escorted off campus, according to the university's president. The university is ''exploring potential legal responses,'' he said. Anonymous rape threats have been left on the TikTok videos of women denouncing the election results. And on the far-flung reaches of the web, 4chan forums have called for ''rape squads'' and the adoption of policies in ''The Handmaid's Tale,'' a dystopian book and TV series depicting the dehumanization and brutalization of women. ''What was scary here was how quickly this also manifested in offline threats,'' Frances-Wright said, emphasizing that online discourse can have real-world impacts. Previous violent rhetoric on 4chan has been connected to racially motivated and antisemitic attacks, including a 2022 shooting by a white supremacist in Buffalo that killed 10 people. Anti-Asian hate incidents also rose as politicians, including Trump, used words such as ''Chinese virus'' to describe the COVID-19 pandemic. And Trump's language targeting Muslims and immigrants in his first campaign correlated with spikes in hate speech and attacks on these groups, Frances-Wright said. The Global Project Against Hate and Extremism reported similar rhetoric, with ''numerous violent misogynistic trends'' gaining traction on right-wing platforms such 4chan and spreading to more mainstream ones such as X since the election. Throughout the presidential race, Trump's campaign leaned on conservative podcasts and tailored messaging toward disaffected young men. As Trump took the stage at the Republican National Convention over the summer, the song ''It's A Man's Man's Man's World'' by James Brown blared from the speakers. One of several factors to his success this election was modestly boosting his support among men, a shift concentrated among younger voters, according to AP VoteCast, survey of more than 120,000 voters nationwide. But Trump also won support from 44% of women age 18 to 44, according to AP VoteCast. To some men, Trump's return to the White House is seen as a vindication, gender and politics experts said. For many young women, the election felt like a referendum on women's rights and Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris ' loss felt like a rejection of their own rights and autonomy. ''For some of these men, Trump's victory represents a chance to reclaim a place in society that they think they are losing around these traditional gender roles,'' Frances-Wright said. None of the current online rhetoric is being amplified by Trump or anyone in his immediate orbit. But Trump has a long history of insulting women, and the spike in such language comes after he ran a campaign that was centered on masculinity and repeatedly attacked Harris over her race and gender. His allies and surrogates also used misogynistic language about Harris throughout the campaign. ''With Trump's victory, many of these men felt like they were heard, they were victorious. They feel that they have potentially a supporter in the White House,'' said Dana Brown, executive director of the Pennsylvania Center for Women and Politics. Brown said some young men feel they're victims of discrimination and have expressed mounting resentment for successes of the women's rights movement, including #MeToo. The tension also has been influenced by socioeconomic struggles. As women become the majority on college campuses and many professional industries see increasing gender diversity, it has ''led to young men scapegoating women and girls, falsely claiming it's their fault they're not getting into college anymore as opposed to looking inward,'' Brown said. Perez, the political science student, said she and her sister have been leaning on each other, their mother and other women in their lives to feel safer amid the online vitriol. They text each other to make sure they got home safely. They have girls' nights to celebrate wins, including a female majority in student government at their campus in the University of Wisconsin system. ''I want to encourage my friends and the women in my life to use their voices to call out this rhetoric and to not let fear take over,'' she said. ___ The Associated Press receives support from several private foundations to enhance its explanatory coverage of elections and democracy. (“Sezzle” or the “Company”) (NASDAQ: SEZL) complied with federal securities laws. The Firm’s investigation focuses on whether the Company violated the federal securities laws and issued false and/or misleading statements and/or failed to disclose information required to be disclosed to investors. Investors who purchased Sezzle securities and those with information about the allegations are encouraged to obtain additional information and assist the Firm’s investigation by contacting DiCello Levitt attorneys Brian O’Mara or Ruben Peña by calling (888) 287-9005 or at investors@dicellolevitt.com . No Case Has Been Filed and No Class Has Been Certified. Until a case is filed and a class is certified, you are not represented by counsel unless you retain one. You may select counsel of your choice. Investigation Details: Sezzle is a technology-enabled payments company that offers flexible financing option to consumers and merchants through a ‘Buy Now, Pay Later’ service. Approximately 52% of Sezzle’s revenue for the third quarter of fiscal year 2024 came from “transaction income,” which includes, among other things, merchant processing fees and consumer fees. In the same period, Sezzle derived 33% of its revenue from its two “subscription” offerings. On December 18, 2024, Hindenburg Research published a critical research report titled “ Sezzle: A Failing ‘Buy Now, Pay Later’ Platform Playing Short Term Tricks As Insiders Cash Out Via Stock Sales And Margin Loans ,” alleging, among other things, that it found “ Sezzle is borrowing expensive capital to make extremely risky loans through a struggling platform that is rapidly losing customers and merchants ” and, at the same time, “ insiders are selling stock or cashing out through a massive margin loan .” According to the report, Hindenburg Research claims that “Sezzle borrows at a 12.65% interest rate to lend to extremely high-risk consumers” with bad credit despite its merchant and customer base declining by 51% and 20% since 2021. The report further states that Sezzle is actively “boosting its near-term subscription numbers” by “enrolling users into recurring monthly subscriptions without their awareness.” After extensive research, Hindenburg Research has concluded that Sezzle’s optimistic revenue numbers are obtained using short-term strategies to give the Company’s insiders an opportunity to cash out over $71 million in stock. In response to the Hindenburg Research report, shares of Sezzle plunged to trade as low as $225 per share on December 18, 2024, falling more than 28% (or more than $90) from its close on December 17, 2024. Tyson Fury's rematch with Oleksandr Usyk has seen an eleventh-hour shake-up in the judging panel. One of the original judges confirmed for the bout, Fernando Barbosa from Miami, is ill and unable to make the trip to Riyadh for Saturday night. Both camps are in disagreement over which of the two potential replacement options - Steve Weisfeld (New Jersey) and Ignacio Robles (Panama) - should step in. Fury 's promoter Frank Warren has suggested that it could come down to a coin toss. Scoring alongside whoever is ultimately chosen are the American Patrick Morley and Gerardo Martinez of Puerto Rico, while Roberto Ramirez - also of Puerto Rico - will serve as the referee. In the duo's first meeting last May, Usyk took the win with judges Mike Fitzgerald and Manuel Oliver Palomo scoring in his favour, 114-113 and 115-112 respectively, whereas Craig Metcalfe scored 114-113 for Fury. The revision follows a revelation from Saudi boxing authority Turki Alalshikh that a fourth official, powered by AI technology, will score the fight, aiming for an impartial and error-less judgment. This innovative move was shared by Alalshikh on social media, stating that it's a trial run that won't affect the official outcome. If the battle continues for all 12 rounds, the ringside judges' scores will still determine the final result. "For the first time ever, an AI-powered judge will monitor the fight," announced Alalshikh. "Free from bias and human error brought to you by The Ring. This groundbreaking experiment, which won't impact the official results, debuts during the biggest fight of the century, #Usyk2Fury, on December 21. Don't miss history in the making." Tyson Fury, despite a setback in his initial bout with Oleksandr Usyk last May, which saw the Ukrainian dominate from the ninth round, remains undeterred. Although he was not the preferred fighter on two of the judges' scorecards, with only one judge in his corner, Fury is confident as he approaches the rematch where three world titles are up for grabs. He believes there's no need for a major overhaul in his approach, stating: "I'm just going to use my boxing, like I did last time. I'm not going to do anything drastic, like a total change of gameplan because it's not needed. "Why would I change something when I had control of the fight for maybe 80 per cent of it? I'm landing on him at will, head and body, lead right uppercuts, left hooks, right hooks to the body. Doubles at times. "I don't feel I need to change anything. I don't think Usyk will change either because his key to victory has to be coming forward. He ain't going to outbox me on the back foot. It's not possible. So he has to come forward and make a fight of it."President-elect Donald Trump has filled the key posts for his second term in office, prioritizing loyalty to him after he felt bruised and hampered by internal squabbling during his first term. Some of his choices could face difficult confirmation fights in the Senate, even with Republicans in control, and one candidate has already withdrawn from consideration. Former Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz was Trump's initial pick for attorney general, but he ultimately withdrew following scrutiny over a federal sex trafficking investigation he was embroiled in. Here's a look at Trump's choices: Trump would turn a former critic into an ally as the nation's top diplomat. Rubio , 53, is a noted hawk on China, Cuba and Iran, and was a finalist to be Trump's running mate before the slot went to JD Vance. Rubio is vice chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee and a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. His selection punctuates the hard pivot Rubio has made with Trump, whom the senator once called a “con man" during his own unsuccessful campaign for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination. Their relationship improved dramatically while Trump was in the White House. Hegseth , 44, was a co-host of Fox News Channel’s “Fox and Friends Weekend” and had been a contributor with the network since 2014. He developed a friendship with Trump, who made regular appearances on the show. Hegseth served in the Army National Guard from 2002 to 2021, deploying to Iraq in 2005 and Afghanistan in 2011 and earning two Bronze Stars. He lacks senior military and national security experience and would oversee global crises ranging from Europe to the Middle East. A woman told police that she was sexually assaulted in 2017 by Hegseth after he took her phone, blocked the door to a California hotel room and refused to let her leave, according to a detailed investigative report recently made public. Hegseth told police at the time that the encounter had been consensual and has denied any wrongdoing. Bessent , 62, is a former money manager for George Soros , a big Democratic donor, and an advocate for deficit reduction . He founded the hedge fund Key Square Capital Management after having worked on and off for Soros Fund Management since 1991. If confirmed by the Senate, Bessent would be the nation’s first openly gay treasury secretary. He told Bloomberg in August that he decided to join Trump’s campaign in part to attack the mounting U.S. national debt. That would include slashing government programs and other spending. Gabbard, 43, is a former Democratic House member from Hawaii who has been accused of echoing Russian propaganda. She unsuccessfully sought the party’s 2020 presidential nomination and left the party in 2022. Gabbard endorsed Trump in August and campaigned often with him. Gabbard has served in the Army National Guard for more than two decades and deployed to Iraq and Kuwait. If confirmed she would come to the role as an outsider compared to her predecessor. The current director, Avril Haines, spent several years in top national security and intelligence positions. Bondi , 59, was Florida's first female attorney general, serving between 2011 and 2019. She was on Trump’s legal team during his first impeachment trial in 2020. Considered a loyalist , Bondi also has served with the America First Policy Institute, a Trump-allied group that has helped lay the groundwork for his future administration. Bondi was among a group of Republicans who showed up to support Trump at his hush-money criminal trial in New York that ended in May with a conviction on 34 felony counts. A fierce defender of Trump, she also frequently appeared on Fox News and has been critical of the criminal cases against him. The Republican U.S. House member narrowly lost her reelection bid on Nov. 5 but had received strong backing from union members in her district. As a potential labor secretary, Chavez-DeRemer would oversee the department's workforce and budget and put forth priorities that affect workers’ wages, health and safety, ability to unionize, and employer’s rights to fire employers, among other responsibilities. Chavez-DeRemer is one of a few House Republicans to endorse the “Protecting the Right to Organize” or PRO Act that would allow more workers to conduct organizing campaigns and penalize companies that violate workers’ rights. The act would also weaken “right-to-work” laws in more than half the states. Lutnick heads the brokerage and investment bank Cantor Fitzgerald and is a cryptocurrency enthusiast. He is co-chair of Trump's transition operation, charged along with Linda McMahon, a former wrestling executive who previously led Trump’s Small Business Administration, with helping the president-elect fill key jobs in his second administration. As secretary, Lutnick would play a key role in carrying out Trump's plans to raise and enforce tariffs. He would oversee a sprawling Cabinet department whose oversight ranges from funding new computer chip factories and imposing trade restrictions to releasing economic data and monitoring the weather. Noem is a well-known conservative who used her two terms as South Dakota's governor to vault to a prominent position in Republican politics. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Noem did not order restrictions like other states, instead declaring South Dakota “open for business.” More recently, Noem faced sharp criticism for writing in her memoir about shooting and killing her dog. She is set to lead a department crucial to the president-elect’s hardline immigration agenda as well as other missions. Homeland Security oversees natural disaster response, the U.S. Secret Service and Transportation Security Administration agents who work at airports. Ratcliffe , a former U.S. House member from Texas, was director of national intelligence during the final year and a half of Trump’s first term. He led U.S. government’s spy agencies during the coronavirus pandemic. If confirmed, Ratcliffe will have held the highest intelligence positions in the U.S. Kennedy , 70, ran for president as a Democrat, then as an independent before he dropped out and then endorsed Trump . He's the son of Democratic icon Robert F. Kennedy, who was assassinated in 1968 during his own presidential campaign. Kennedy's nomination alarmed people who are concerned about his record of spreading unfounded fears about vaccines . For example, he has long advanced the debunked idea that vaccines cause autism. Rollins , 52, is president and CEO of the America First Policy Institute, a group helping to lay the groundwork for Trump's second administration. She is a Texas attorney who was Trump's domestic policy adviser and director of his office of American innovation during his first term. Rollins previously was an aide to former Texas Gov. Rick Perry , who also served in Trump's first term. Rollins also ran the Texas Public Policy Foundation. Duffy is a former House member from Wisconsin who was one of Trump's most visible defenders on cable news. Duffy served in the House for nearly nine years , sitting on the Financial Services Committee and chairing the subcommittee on insurance and housing. He left Congress in 2019 for a TV career and has been the host of “The Bottom Line” on Fox Business. Before entering politics, Duffy was a reality TV star on MTV, where he met his wife, “Fox and Friends Weekend” co-host Rachel Campos-Duffy. They have nine children. Collins is a former Republican congressman from Georgia who gained recognition for defending Trump during his first impeachment trial. Trump was impeached for urging Ukraine to investigate Joe Biden in 2019 during the Democratic presidential campaign, but was acquitted by the Senate. Collins also served in the armed forces himself. He is a chaplain in the United States Air Force Reserve Command. The North Dakota governor , 68, is a former Republican presidential primary contender who endorsed Trump after he dropped out of the running. Burgum then became a serious contender to be Trump’s vice presidential choice in part because of his executive experience and business savvy. He also has close ties to deep-pocketed energy industry CEOs. Trump said Burgum would chair a new National Energy Council and have a seat on the National Security Council, which would be a first for the Interior secretary. A campaign donor and CEO of Denver-based Liberty Energy, Wright is a vocal advocate of oil and gas development, including fracking — a key pillar of Trump’s quest to achieve U.S. “energy dominance” in the global market. He also has been one of the industry’s loudest voices against efforts to fight climate change. Wright said the climate movement around the world is “collapsing under its own weight.” The Energy Department is responsible for advancing energy, environmental and nuclear security of the United States. McMahon, a billionaire professional wrestling mogul , would make a return appearance in a second Trump administration. She led the Small Business Administration from 2017 to 2019 in Trump’s first term and twice ran unsuccessfully in Connecticut as a Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate. She served on the Connecticut Board of Education for a year starting in 2009 and has spent years on the board of trustees for Sacred Heart University. She has expressed support for charter schools and school choice. Zeldin does not appear to have any experience in environmental issues, but is a longtime supporter of the former president. The 44-year-old former U.S. House member from New York wrote on X , “We will restore US energy dominance, revitalize our auto industry to bring back American jobs, and make the US the global leader of AI" and "we will do so while protecting access to clean air and water.” Trump often attacked the Biden administration’s promotion of electric vehicles, and incorrectly referred to a tax credit for EV purchases as a government mandate. Trump also often said his administration would “drill, baby, drill,” referring to his support for expanded petroleum exploration. Turner is a former NFL player and White House aide. He ran the White House Opportunity and Revitalization Council during Trump’s first term in office. Trump, in a statement, credited Turner, the highest-ranking Black person he’s yet selected for his administration, with “helping to lead an Unprecedented Effort that Transformed our Country’s most distressed communities.” Greer is a partner at King & Spalding, a Washington law firm. If confirmed by the Senate, he would be responsible for negotiating directly with foreign governments on trade deals and disputes, as well as memberships in international trade bodies such as the World Trade Organization. He previously was chief of staff to Robert Lighthizer, who was the trade representative in Trump's first term. Wiles , 67, was a senior adviser to Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign and its de facto manager. She has a background in Florida politics , helping Ron DeSantis win his first race for Florida governor. Six years later, she was key to Trump’s defeat of him in the 2024 Republican primary. Wiles’ hire was Trump’s first major decision as president-elect and one that could be a defining test of his incoming administration considering her close relationship with him. Wiles is said to have earned Trump’s trust in part by guiding what was the most disciplined of Trump’s three presidential campaigns. Waltz is a three-term Republican congressman from east-central Florida. A former Army Green Beret , he served multiple tours in Afghanistan and worked in the Pentagon as a policy adviser when Donald Rumsfeld and Robert Gates were defense chiefs. He is considered hawkish on China, and called for a U.S. boycott of the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing due to its involvement in the origin of COVID-19 and its mistreatment of the minority Muslim Uighur population. Hassett, 62, is a major advocate of tax cuts who was chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers in the first Trump term. In the new role as chairman of the National Economic Council, Trump said Hassett will play an important role in helping American families recover from inflation as well as in renewing and improving tax cuts Trump enacted in 2017, many of which are set to expire after 2025. Homan, 62, has been tasked with Trump’s top priority of carrying out the largest deportation operation in the nation’s history. He led the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Trump's first administration. Democrats have criticized Homan for defending Trump’s “zero tolerance” policy on border crossings in the first term, which led to the separation of thousands of parents and children seeking asylum at the border. Vought, 48, held the position during Trump’s first presidency. He the founded the Center for Renewing America, a think tank that describes its mission as “renew a consensus of America as a nation under God.” Vought also was closely involved with Project 2025 , a conservative blueprint for Trump’s second term that Trump tried to distance himself from during the campaign. Miller, an immigration hardliner , was a vocal spokesperson during the presidential campaign for Trump’s priority of mass deportations. The 39-year-old was a senior adviser during Trump’s first term. Miller has been a central figure in some of Trump’s policy decisions, notably his move to separate thousands of immigrant families. Trump argued throughout the campaign that the nation’s economic, national security and social priorities could be met by deporting people living illegally in the U.S. Scavino was an adviser in all three of the president-elect's campaigns and was described by the transition team as one of “Trump’s longest serving and most trusted aides." He will be deputy chief of staff and assistant to the president. Scavino previously ran Trump’s social media profile in the White House. Blair was key to Trump’s economic messaging during his winning White House comeback campaign. He will be deputy chief of staff for communications and personnel and assistant to the president. Leavitt , 27, was Trump's campaign press secretary and currently a spokesperson for his transition. In 2022, she ran for Congress in New Hampshire, winning a 10-way Republican primary before losing to Democratic Rep. Chris Pappas. McGinley was Cabinet secretary during Trump's first administration and was outside legal counsel for the Republican National Committee's election integrity effort during the 2024 campaign. The 67-year-old Witkoff is the president-elect's golf partner and they were golfing at Trump's club in West Palm Beach, Florida, on Sept. 15, when the former president was the target of a second attempted assassination. Trump also named Witkoff co-chair, with former Georgia Sen. Kelly Loeffler, of his inaugural committee. Kellogg , 80, is a highly decorated retired three-star general and one of the architects of a staunchly conservative policy book that lays out an “America First” national security agenda for Trump's second term. He has long been Trump’s top adviser on defense issues and served as national security adviser to Vice President Mike Pence . Kellogg also was chief of staff of the National Security Council under Trump and stepped in as an acting national security adviser for Trump after Michael Flynn resigned the post. Huckabee is a staunch defender of Israel and his intended nomination comes as Trump has promised to align U.S. foreign policy more closely with Israel's interests. Huckabee, who ran unsuccessfully for the Republican presidential nomination in 2008 and 2016, has been a popular figure among evangelical Christian conservatives, many of whom support Israel due to Old Testament writings that Jews are God’s chosen people and that Israel is their rightful homeland. Huckabee has rejected a Palestinian homeland in territory occupied by Israel. His daughter, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, served as White House press secretary in Trump's first term. Stefanik, 40, is a U.S. representative from New York and one of Trump's staunchest defenders dating to his first impeachment trial. She was elected chair of the House Republican Conference in 2021, the third-highest position in House leadership, after then-Rep. Liz Cheney was removed from the post after she publicly criticized Trump for falsely claiming he won the 2020 election. Stefanik’s questioning of university presidents over antisemitism on their campuses helped lead to two of those presidents resigning, further raising her national profile. A former acting attorney general during Trump's first administration and tight end on the University of Iowa football team, Whitaker , 55, has a background in law enforcement but not in foreign policy. A fierce Trump localist, Whitaker, is also a former U.S. attorney in Iowa and served as acting attorney general between November 2018 and February 2019 without Senate confirmation, until William Barr was confirmed for the role. That was when special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian election interference was drawing to a close. Whitaker also faced questions about his past business dealings, including his ties to an invention-promotion company that was accused of misleading consumers. A Republican congressman from Michigan who served from 1993 to 2011, Hoekstra was ambassador to the Netherlands during Trump's first term. Oz , 64, is a former heart surgeon who hosted “The Dr. Oz Show,” a long-running daytime TV talk show. He ran unsuccessfully for the U.S. Senate as the Republican nominee in 2022 and is an outspoken supporter of Trump, who endorsed Oz’s bid for elected office. Makary is a Johns Hopkins surgeon and author who argued against pandemic lockdowns. He routinely appeared on Fox News during the COVID-19 pandemic and wrote opinion articles questioning masks for children. He cast doubt on vaccine mandates but supported vaccines generally. Makary also cast doubt on whether booster shots worked, which was against federal recommendations on the vaccine. Nesheiwat is a general practitioner who serves as medical director for CityMD, a network of urgent care centers in New York and New Jersey. She has been a contributor on Fox News. Weldon is a former Florida congressman who recently ran for a Florida state legislative seat and lost; Trump backed Weldon’s opponent. In Congress, Weldon weighed in on one of the nation’s most heated debates of the 1990s over quality of life and a right-to-die and whether Terri Schiavo, who was in a persistent vegetative after cardiac arrest, state should have been allowed to have her feeding tube removed. He sided with the parents who did not want it removed. Bhattacharya , 56, is a critic of pandemic lockdowns and vaccine mandates. As head of the NIH, the leading medical research agency in the United States, Trump said Bhattacharya would work with Kennedy Jr. to direct U.S. medical research and make important discoveries that will improve health and save lives. Bhattacharya is professor at Stanford University School of Medicine and was one of three authors of the Great Barrington Declaration, an October 2020 open letter maintaining that lockdowns during the COVID-19 pandemic were causing irreparable harm. Gaetz, 42, withdrew from consideration to become the top law enforcement officer of the United States amid fallout over a federal sex trafficking investigation that cast doubt on his ability to be confirmed by the Senate. In choosing Gaetz, Trump had passed over more established lawyers whose names had been floated as possible contenders for the job. Gaetz resigned from Congress after Trump announced him on Nov. 13. The House Ethics Committee has been investigating an allegation that he paid for sex with a 17-year-old. Gaetz has denied wrongdoing. One powerful solution to achieve this is white-label payment solutions. These solutions allow businesses to offer secure, seamless, and branded payment experiences without the need to develop complex systems from scratch. By leveraging white-label technology, companies can focus on their core services while ensuring their payment systems are robust , scalable, and customizable. What Are White-Label Payment Solutions? White-label payment solutions refer to payment platforms and tools that are developed by a third party but can be rebranded and customized by businesses to appear as their own. These solutions offer businesses a ready-made infrastructure for accepting payments, which can be adapted to their specific needs. Essentially, the business can take a pre-built solution and apply its brand, style, and functionality to make it fit seamlessly into their operations. The term “white-label” refers to the concept of taking a product or service and “relabeling” it with your brand. In the context of payment systems, this means that companies can offer a full suite of payment processing tools—such as credit card payments, mobile wallet integration, and bank transfers—without needing to build the technology themselves. The Growing Importance of Custom Payment Experiences In a world where customers expect convenience, speed, and personalization, businesses must adapt their services to meet these demands. A seamless, frictionless payment experience is no longer just a nice-to-have feature; it is a necessity. Whether a customer is making a purchase online, in-app, or in a physical store, the payment experience must be fast, secure, and reliable. This is where white-label payment solutions come into play. They allow businesses to customize the payment experience to align with their brand identity, ensuring a cohesive customer journey. Custom payment experiences can significantly enhance customer satisfaction, leading to higher retention rates, increased loyalty, and more successful transactions. Key Benefits of White-Label Payment Solutions Cost-Effective and Time-Saving Building a payment system from the ground up is a complex, expensive, and time-consuming process. From developing the technology to ensuring compliance with various regulations, it requires significant investment. By choosing a white-label payment solution, businesses can bypass the need for extensive development and focus on integration and customization. This reduces both the time and the costs associated with payment processing. Moreover, since white-label solutions are already tested and optimized, businesses don’t have to worry about managing ongoing software updates, security issues, or compliance concerns. These are handled by the third-party provider, freeing up internal resources to focus on other aspects of the business. Faster Time to Market White-label payment solutions help businesses launch quickly by providing ready-made platforms that can be customized and branded within a short timeframe. With a pre-built payment infrastructure, businesses can deploy the system in a matter of weeks, not months or years. This faster time to market is crucial, especially for startups or small businesses looking to enter the market and establish themselves before competitors. Whether you are an e-commerce store, a mobile app developer, or a service provider, a white-label payment system ensures that you can start accepting payments and generating revenue without delay. Scalability and Flexibility As businesses grow, so do their payment needs. White-label payment solutions are designed to scale with your business. Whether you are expanding into new markets, adding more payment options, or handling a higher transaction volume, these solutions can grow alongside your company. Furthermore, white-label solutions offer the flexibility to tailor the payment system to meet evolving business requirements. Businesses can easily integrate new features, such as multi-currency support or mobile wallet compatibility, without disrupting the payment experience for customers . Enhanced Security and Compliance Security is a critical aspect of any payment system. With the increasing number of cyberattacks and data breaches, businesses must ensure that their payment solutions are secure and compliant with industry standards. White-label payment providers invest heavily in security protocols and technologies, such as encryption, tokenization, and fraud detection, to protect both the business and the customer. Additionally, these providers stay up-to-date with regulations such as Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliance and regional regulations like GDPR in Europe. By using a white-label payment solution, businesses can rest assured that their payment systems meet the highest security standards and are in full compliance with relevant regulations. Improved Customer Experience A smooth and seamless payment experience is crucial for customer satisfaction. With white-label payment solutions, businesses can customize the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) to create an intuitive, branded payment process. This means customers can make payments easily, without friction or confusion. Customizing the payment flow allows businesses to incorporate specific features that suit their customer base, such as offering one-click payments, recurring billing, or multi-currency support. A tailored payment experience increases customer confidence and satisfaction, which can lead to more completed transactions and reduced cart abandonment. How White-Label Payment Solutions Work White-label payment solutions work by integrating with a business’s existing infrastructure, enabling them to accept payments securely and efficiently. Typically, businesses will integrate the payment solution through APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) or SDKs (Software Development Kits). These tools allow the payment platform to connect to the business’s website, mobile app, or point-of-sale (POS) system. The integration process involves configuring the solution to match the business’s brand elements, such as logos, color schemes, and payment methods. Once the payment system is integrated, businesses can start accepting payments from their customers. These payments are processed by the third-party provider, who handles the technical aspects of the transaction, such as encryption and fraud prevention. Key Features of White-Label Payment Solutions Multi-Payment Method Support: White-label solutions support a variety of payment methods, including credit and debit cards, digital wallets (like Apple Pay and Google Pay), bank transfers, and even cryptocurrency payments in some cases. This enables businesses to offer customers a wide range of payment options, ensuring flexibility and convenience. Customizable Payment Flow: Businesses can tailor the entire payment process, from the checkout page to the confirmation email. This customization extends to features such as tax calculations, shipping fees, and promotional discounts, all of which can be incorporated into the payment flow. Detailed Reporting and Analytics: Most white-label payment solutions come with built-in reporting and analytics tools. These tools allow businesses to track payments, monitor transaction history, and generate reports to optimize their operations. Advanced reporting capabilities can also help identify patterns, customer behavior, and potential fraud. Global Payment Support: Many white-label payment solutions support multi-currency transactions, allowing businesses to expand into international markets. Customers can make payments in their local currency, which reduces friction and enhances the overall user experience. Choosing the Right White-Label Payment Solution When selecting a white-label payment solution, businesses should consider several factors to ensure they choose the right provider. These include: Compatibility with Existing Systems: The solution should integrate smoothly with the business’s current website, app, or POS system. Compatibility ensures a seamless transition and reduces the time and effort required for integration. Security Features: Security should be a top priority. The solution should offer encryption, fraud detection, and compliance with industry standards. Customization Options: The level of customization offered by the provider is crucial. Look for a solution that allows you to brand the payment experience, adjust the payment flow, and add additional features as needed. Customer Support: A reliable customer support team is essential, especially when dealing with payment-related issues. Choose a provider that offers responsive, 24/7 support. Cost Structure: Consider the provider’s pricing model and how it aligns with your business’s budget. Some providers charge a flat fee per transaction, while others charge based on the volume of payments processed. Conclusion White-label payment solutions offer businesses the opportunity to create custom, branded payment experiences without the need for complex development and maintenance. By leveraging these solutions, businesses can save time and resources, reduce costs, and enhance their customers’ payment experience. The scalability, security, and flexibility of white-label payment solutions make them a valuable asset for businesses of all sizes , from startups to established enterprises. As the demand for seamless, secure payment systems continues to grow, adopting a white-label solution can help businesses stay ahead of the competition and provide exceptional customer service. In the latest episode of 'The OGs' show, Miami Heat legend (and former Lakers guard) Pat Riley was asked to pick between the Showtime Lakers and the Miami Heat superteam with LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh. Riley played a massive role in both title pursuits, but he says that the 1980s Lakers would come out on top. Fan question: "Your Heat vs your Lakers at peak who wins?" Pat Riley: "I'll be very honest with you. I think the 'Showtime' team of Scott, Cooper, Magic, Worthy, Kareem. Those five guys. It would be hard for any other five to beat them. I say this because of the greatness of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. He was the one guy that you could not guard. You could double him, but you could not guard him. It'd be a great series and I'd go seven with it. Whoever's got the home-court advantage would probably win." Pat Riley has been on some of the greatest teams in NBA history, both as a player and as a coach/executive. Today, he's widely respected across the league for his experience, wisdom, and vast array of accomplishments. Riley's NBA journey began back in 1967 as the 7th overall pick. After three years with the Rockets, he finally landed with the Lakers, where he quickly became an important rotation player. In 1972, Riley won his first and only championship as a player alongside Wilt Chamberlain and Elgin Baylor. Riley took over as the Lakers head coach after retirement and led them during their most prosperous stretch to date: the Showtime era. With Magic Johnson , Michael Cooper, Mitch Kupchak, Kurt Rambis, and others, the Lakers were able to win five championships over eight years to establish one of the greatest dynasties in NBA history. That's not to mention Kareem Abdul-Jabbar , who Riley admits was the star of the show. His greatness alone made the Lakers nearly unbeatable at the time, with averages of 22.1 points, 9.4 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game on 56.7% shooting. With 38,387 points scored, Kareem ranks second on the NBA's all-time scoring list. The "big three" Miami Heat may not have quite as much firepower but they could certainly put up a good fight in a hypothetical series. LeBron's arrival in 2010 made the Heat a powerful superteam and, along with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh, won two championships for the city in four straight trips to the Finals. The Heat's famed 27-game win streak in 2013 marked the height of their powers and it's a level of dominance that hasn't been replicated since. While that Heat squad did not have Karem Abdul-Jabbar , they did have LeBron James in his prime, who many believe to be the greatest player ever. LeBron certainly would have posed a problem for the Showtime Lakers, but it wouldn't have done much to challenge Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. The Heat, who were historically weak at the center position, would have had no answer to Kareem and his dominance on the post. When you look at it like that, it makes sense why Riley chose the Lakers over the Heat. Nowadays, of course, he's a Heat man through and through, but it won't stop him from calling things as he sees them. This article first appeared on Fadeaway World and was syndicated with permission.

NASSAU, Bahamas — Javon Small scored five of his 31 points in overtime and Tucker DeVries added key free throws late in regulation and finished with 16 points as West Virginia beat No. 3 Gonzaga 86-78 in the Battle 4 Atlantis on Wednesday. Small’s layup with under 2 minutes left in OT gave West Virginia a 79-75 lead. After a Gonzaga miss, Sencire Harris hit two free throws to make it a six-point lead. With 27.1 seconds left, Harris made a steal and scored on a dunk for an eight-point lead, putting the game out of reach. Amani Hansberry scored a career-high 19 points and Toby Okani added 10 for West Virginia (3-2). Braden Huff scored 19 points and Khalif Battle 16 for Gonzaga (5-1). Takeaways Gonzaga showed its depth, outscoring the West Virginia bench 30-2. West Virginia’s only loss was by 24 points at Pitt, but the rebuild under Darian DeVries is showing promise. Key moment Gonzaga turned it over at midcourt late in regulation when Tucker DeVries poked it away from Nolan Hickman and raced the other way before getting fouled. DeVries made two free throws with 5.9 seconds left to tie it at 71-all. Battle inbounded the ball and got it back, but lost control on a drive as time expired. Key stats The shorter Mountaineers outrebounded Gonzaga 42-36 and shot 50% in the second half, battling the Zags to a draw in the paint. Nembhard had 12 assists and just one turnover in 43 minutes, but was 1 of 10 from the field. Up next Gonzaga faces No. 14 Indiana on Thursday on the consolation side of the bracket.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ross Bjork made the first of two important decisions a year ago. While serving as the athletic director for Texas A&M, Bjork elected to fire football coach Jimbo Fisher. The decision sent a message across the sport, with the Aggies paying a buyout worth more than $75 million. In January, two months after letting Fisher go, Bjork also left College Station, Texas. He was hired as the AD-in-waiting as Ohio State prepared for life after Gene Smith’s retirement. Now, Bjork finds himself in familiar territory. He has a decision to make about his football coach. Ohio State football lost, 13-10, against Michigan on Saturday. It was the fourth straight loss in the rivalry for the Buckeyes, marking the longest skid for OSU since 1988-91. Everything in Columbus centers around beating The Team Up North. Coach Ryan Day , despite winning at least 10 games every year outside of 2020, isn’t doing that. Will Bjork have to part ways with a football coach less than a year into his tenure as athletic director? Latest Ohio State Buckeyes news The wrong people are apologizing for Ohio State’s to Michigan, again Ohio State’s seniors came back to beat a down Michigan team — and they fell short again Ohio State, Michigan football fight: Police issue statement after brawl Watch Ohio State football’s Skull Session ahead of game vs. Michigan (video) Who are The 40 Most Influential People in Cleveland Sports when it comes to fan happiness? See our list and how we ranked them. What is Ryan Day’s buyout? A big factor in any firing centers around contracts: The buyout. Ohio State owes Day $37,276,042 if he’s fired, according to USA TODAY’s college football head coaches salaries database . He has the 17th largest buyout among active coaches while ranking fifth in annual salary ($10,021,250). While the $37 million pales in comparison to Fisher’s buyout, it would still pose a challenge for Ohio State in a changing landscape. College athletic departments are on the brink of sharing revenue with athletes. Bjork said earlier this year he expects Ohio State to pay athletes about $20 million. That means an increase in expenses but doesn’t necessarily come with an increase in revenue. Can Ryan Day salvage Ohio State’s season? Beating Michigan is the top goal for Ohio State each year. That game has often determined whether the Buckeyes make the Big Ten title game as well as the College Football Playoff. That isn’t the case this season – the first year with the 12-team CFP format. At 10-2, Ohio State still has an 89% chance of making the postseason, according to ESPN’s CFP predictor. The Buckeyes can still win a national championship. Is anything less than that acceptable for Bjork and Ohio State? That’s the question that will loom over the four games OSU could play.B.C. Don Gilet joins the team as DI Mervin Wilson, with Marcus Brigstocke, Jim Howick, Dex Lee, Elizabeth Carling and Angela Griffin RT says:: Such is the popularity of Death in Paradise that the prospect of a new detective inspector arriving on Saint Marie is now met with almost Doctor Who levels of anticipation. So, what to make of Don Gilet as the latest series lead, Mervin Wilson? Well, the first thing to note is that he’s refreshingly free of oddball quirks, his key idiosyncrasies being a bucket hat and an irritated air. But to be fair to him, he does have a point about his team being under-resourced, as there are so many murders on this island, you’d expect the police force to be staffed like CSI. Yet this annoyance does tend to alienate those around him, with Darlene giving Mervin the nickname “DI Fancy Pants” and Catherine labelling him “rude”. For viewers, though, the lively Gilet is undeniably fun to watch and his debut case suitably tricksy, involving as it does three Santas shot at the same time with a single firearm. The result is a satisfying, twist-filled slay ride. JANE RACKHAM How to watch A Christmas Carol: The Read with Anne-Marie Duff Arts and culture Summary: Anne-Marie Duff takes audiences on a spirited journey through Victorian London with Charles Dickens' timeless seasonal classic, A Christmas Carol. The actress brings to life the miserly Scrooge, as he's visited by the ghost of his former business partner Jacob Marley and the spirits of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come RT says:: Dickens’s covetous sinner Scrooge is brought to life by Anne-Marie Duff, who sits in a candlelit office of dark wood and thick ledgers for a carefully abridged retelling of this classic story. The writer’s conversational but vivid style suits the set-up, and Duff is in her element as she gives voice to the admonitions of Jacob Marley and the bonhomie of Fezziwig, the only accompaniment to her words being the odd silhouette at windows fringed with snow. Higher budget versions of this tale will no doubt be watched over the days ahead, but the power of the original text and the message it conveys remain priceless. DAVID BROWN How to watch

Celebrating good deeds and 'mad science' in Chicago on ThanksgivingBy COLLEEN SLEVIN DENVER (AP) — Amid renewed interest in the killing of JonBenet Ramsey triggered in part by a new Netflix documentary, police in Boulder, Colorado, refuted assertions this week that there is viable evidence and leads about the 1996 killing of the 6-year-old girl that they are not pursuing. JonBenet Ramsey, who competed in beauty pageants, was found dead in the basement of her family’s home in the college town of Boulder the day after Christmas in 1996. Her body was found several hours after her mother called 911 to say her daughter was missing and a ransom note had been left behind. The details of the crime and video footage of JonBenet competing in pageants propelled the case into one of the highest-profile mysteries in the United States. The police comments came as part of their annual update on the investigation, a month before the 28th anniversary of JonBenet’s killing. Police said they released it a little earlier due to the increased attention on the case, apparently referring to the three-part Netflix series “Cold Case: Who Killed JonBenet Ramsey.” In a video statement, Boulder Police Chief Steve Redfearn said the department welcomes news coverage and documentaries about the killing of JonBenet, who would have been 34 this year, as a way to generate possible new leads. He said the department is committed to solving the case but needs to be careful about what it shares about the investigation to protect a possible future prosecution. “What I can tell you though, is we have thoroughly investigated multiple people as suspects throughout the years and we continue to be open-minded about what occurred as we investigate the tips that come into detectives,” he said. The Netflix documentary focuses on the mistakes made by police and the “media circus” surrounding the case. JonBenet was bludgeoned and strangled. Her death was ruled a homicide, but nobody was ever prosecuted. Police were widely criticized for mishandling the early investigation into her death amid speculation that her family was responsible. However, a prosecutor cleared her parents, John and Patsy Ramsey, and brother Burke in 2008 based on new DNA evidence from JonBenet’s clothing that pointed to the involvement of an “unexplained third party” in her slaying. The announcement by former district attorney Mary Lacy came two years after Patsy Ramsey died of cancer. Lacy called the Ramseys “victims of this crime.” John Ramsey has continued to speak out for the case to be solved. In 2022, he supported an online petition asking Colorado’s governor to intervene in the investigation by putting an outside agency in charge of DNA testing in the case. In the Netflix documentary, he said he has been advocating for several items that have not been prepared for DNA testing to be tested and for other items to be retested. He said the results should be put through a genealogy database. In recent years, investigators have identified suspects in unsolved cases by comparing DNA profiles from crime scenes and to DNA testing results shared online by people researching their family trees. In 2021, police said in their annual update that DNA hadn’t been ruled out to help solve the case, and in 2022 noted that some evidence could be “consumed” if DNA testing is done on it. Last year, police said they convened a panel of outside experts to review the investigation to give recommendations and determine if updated technologies or forensic testing might produce new leads. In the latest update, Redfearn said that review had ended but that police continue to work through and evaluate a “lengthy list of recommendations” from the panel.
